How It Works

The Xpandable™ Collection by Picchiotti is the first of its kind in the fine jewelry arena. A groundbreaking hidden mechanism allows each ring to expand over the knuckle with ease and "snap" back into place. No resizing is necessary.

Xpandable™ bracelets by Picchiotti work the same way, ensuring a comfortable fit and eliminating the sometimes difficult obstacle of a clasp.

Six Decades in the Making

While Giuseppe Picchiotti began developing the Xpandable™ Collection in 2013, his storied career in high jewelry started more than 60 years ago.

"I began at the bench at the age of 13," he said, calling the family with whom he apprenticed "the finest people I ever met."

Today, he employs a team of more than 20 goldsmiths, designers and highly trained craftsmen and artisans. His "board of directors" comprises seven family members, including his wife, their grown children, his sister and a niece.

"The simple secret is passion…the passion that goes into every design," said Mr. Picchiotti, who oversees each step of the process in-house -- from the initial drawings to the final photography.
