Pi Day: Electric Cloud and Thinkersmith Join Forces to Bring The Joy of Coding To Kids
Early education event promotes teamwork and creativity in software development
SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Electric Cloud, the leader in software delivery acceleration, and Thinkersmith, an organization advocating for computer science literacy, are joining forces to commemorate Pi Day with a fun educational program on Friday, March 14 at Meadow View Elementary in Eugene, Oregon.
In an increasingly software-driven economy, understanding how computers work and how collaboration accelerates problem solving are critical skills to learn. Electric Cloud and Thinkersmith are partnering to educate elementary students on the value of working together as a team to solve problems and build products.

Hands-On Activities
Mark Neyer, a senior software engineer for Electric Cloud, will be leading hands-on activities with a gymnasium full of local students at 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 14 at Meadow View Elementary. Each activity will feature team building and highlight the importance of working together.
