Physician Recommended Nutriceuticals appoints Jerri Ann Thatcher as Vice President of Marketing

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., July 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Physician Recommended Nutriceuticals, (PRN), a leading provider of condition-specific nutritional supplements including omega-3s and macular vitamins, today announced the appointment of Jerri Ann Thatcher to the position of Vice President, Marketing.  PRN's rapid growth necessitated making this significant addition to the management team.

Jerri Ann brings more than 20 years of life sciences industry experience, directing marketing, strategic planning and new product planning efforts for a broad range of therapeutic products and franchises.  In this role, Jerri Ann will be responsible for overseeing the marketing strategies and execution for PRN's current line of products as well as future products in development.

Jerri Ann was most recently with Cephalon where she held leadership roles in Pain Franchise Marketing and Strategic Planning focusing on commercial optimization and identifying growth strategies.  Jerri Ann first joined Cephalon in 2004, where she oversaw Wake Franchise Marketing and was charged with building the infrastructure needed to support the future growth.   Prior to this, Jerri Ann spent 7 years at Wyeth in roles of increasing responsibility and scope, launching products in both CNS and Vaccines.  Jerri Ann began her career at G.D. Searle holding positions in market research, sales and marketing. 

Jerri Ann holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
