Phyllis Schlafly, Tony Perkins to Honor Santorum, Perry, Bachmann, Gohmert at 'Treasure Life' RNC Event

TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Phyllis Schlafly, founder of the Republican National Coalition for Life, and Family Research Council Action President Tony Perkins will honor four pro-life heroes of 2012 at a reception at the Florida Aquarium. The RNC for Life and FRC Action's event, "Treasure Life," honors the pro-life contributions of Rep. Louie Gohmert and former presidential candidates Sen. Rick Santorum, Rep. Michele Bachmann and Gov. Rick Perry for their consistent advocacy for every stage of life, from conception to natural death.
Additionally, Reps. Alan West, Randy Forbes and Michael Burgess, M.D., are confirmed attendees.
The reception begins at 10 a.m. Eastern when the aquarium opens for self-guided tours. A lunch buffet with a staffed beverage bar begins at 11 a.m., a VIP reception begins at noon and the program to honor the four leaders begins at 1 p.m. Eastern.
