The Bank is announcing that the Phoenix region is participating in its Quality Job Growth and Business Expansion Financing initiative. The initiative will direct $40 million in grants to fund organizations that support quality job development and small to mid-tier business expansion in underserved West coast communities, including Phoenix.  After the media availability, FHLBank San Francisco will hold a roundtable discussion where local, regional, and national experts will explore best practices for creating quality jobs and expanding small businesses. Following a series of seminars, the Aspen Institute will write a summary report that will be used to shape the RFP process for grants.
