Phobio Announces Matthew McFee As EVP Business Development

KENNESAW, Ga., March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Phobio is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew McFee as Executive Vice President responsible for global sales and account management. McFee brings over twenty five years of wireless experience having worked at Motorola since the early eighties when cellular technology was in its infancy.

At Motorola he developed successful sales teams that achieved significant results for his clients and the company. His career experience includes paging, RF surveillance, two way radios, location based solutions, ingestion and distribution of media content for operators and the successful development of wireless products and solutions in the US. 

He left Motorola to join BellSouth as the Director of New Products and Services Development, focused on increasing new revenue services and managing all aspects of vendor relations with original equipment manufacturers for BellSouth domestic and international operations. He was recruited back to Motorola as Executive Director for the Global Telecom Solutions Group to manage their cross-sector business development needs with BellSouth's global wireless operations with focus on the US and Latin America. 

McFee joined Samsung Telecommunications of America to establish initial relations and sales operations for the AT&T Wireless account, in Seattle. Following the merger with Cingular, he returned back to Atlanta to combine the two sales operations achieving over a half billion dollars in sales revenue their first year.  He served as Senior Vice President of Sales Operations in North America for Huawei Technologies, where he guided and directed national sales teams supporting wireless and cable operators for consumer devices in United States and Canada. His teams doubled revenue year over year achieving nearly one billion dollars.  Most recently he worked for Nextivity Inc. in California as the Vice President of Sales for the Americas where he developed strategic relations with tier one operators in the US and Canada.
