Philippine International Call Center Starts Operations in China

MAKATI CITY, Philippines, June 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- International call center Open Access BPO has started its operations in Xiamen City, China as part of its global strategy.

Through its location in China, Open Access BPO aims to provide businesses with high-quality and economical Chinese customer support solutions. Businesses can gain access to millions of Chinese-speaking professionals with a firsthand knowledge of the Chinese market. This strategic location allows for access to a wide range of Chinese dialects, including but not limited to Mandarin, Cantonese, and Fookien. Being the primary talent base of Chinese-fluent workers, China's customer support solutions come at lower prices compared with other locations such as the United Stated or the Philippines.

The Xiamen-based call center officially opened last June 1. Some of the initial activities currently being done in the site include facility setups and employee onboarding and training. Open Access BPO's core customer service operations began last June 7. The site is headed by joint managers Michael Chang, operations manager of Open Access BPO Manila, and Jack Wei, country manager of Open Access BPO Taiwan.

Open Access BPO's Xiamen site is located at 96 Lujiang Avenue, Siming District, Xiamen, China. It occupies one office floor that can house up to 400 employees working in three shifts.
