(Walmart) announced that together with Sam's Club associates, customers, and members, it has completed a six-week fundraising campaign for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). The Company stated that during the campaign, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin partnered with 79 stores and clubs across Southeastern & Northeastern Wisconsin and raised $706,000 for providing patient visits for over 500,000 kids each year. According to the Company, through donations made across the country via cash registers and in-store fundraising activities, Walmart has raised over $40.2 million for the 170 hospitals of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and also helped CMNH to provide for patient visits for over 10 million kids each year. On July 21, 2014, Target Corporation (Target) announced that it has partnered with Veronica Valencia, founder of Design Hunter L.A., along with four YouTube stars, Todrick Hall, Mikey Bolts, Tiffany Garcia, and Ann Le, on a YouTube video series called, the Best Year Ever. The Company stated that the series will provide tips and tricks for college students in designing their own dorm or off-campus spaces. On July 10, 2014, Costco Wholesale Corporation (Costco) reported June 2014 sales results with net sales of $10.9 billion for the five weeks ended on July 6, 2014, compared from the $9.9 billion during the similar five-week period last year. The Company stated that both years' five-week periods included 34 selling days in Canada and in the U.S., observing Canada Day and Independence Day in the U.S., respectively.
