Philadelphia PHLASH Unwraps New Holiday Evening Loop
PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Philadelphia PHLASH will operate a special schedule for the holiday season with daily service beginning Friday, November 28, and continuing through Wednesday, December 31. Brand-new this season is the addition of a special Holiday Evening Loop.
Day-time Schedule: PHLASH has been running a weekend only service in September, October and November. Beginning November 28 and through December 31, PHLASH will rev back up for the holiday season offering service 7-days a week to 20 locations. PHLASH arrives at each stop every 15 minutes between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with the last pick up time marked at each stop.
What is the HOLIDAY EVENING LOOP? On November 28, the Holiday Evening Loop kicks off for the first time from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., seven nights a week. The Holiday Evening Loop, serviced by PHLASH, will operate a 15-stop loop, connecting passengers with key holiday attractions, shopping destinations, and performance venues throughout Center City. The evening service will also feature stops at Jefferson Station (formerly Market East Station) and Suburban Station, region rail train stations both offering connections to Amtrak at 30th Street Station.
How much does each service cost? Passengers will be able to enjoy rides on both services from 10:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. for just $5 per person all-day, or $2 each per ride.
