Phigenics To Deliver Smart Water Management Services To New England And South Central Healthcare Systems Of The Veterans Health Administration
NAPERVILLE, Ill., May 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Veterans Administration New England (VISN 1) and South Central (VISN 16) Healthcare Systems have awarded contracts to Phigenics, LLC, to develop smart water management programs for a total of fifty-one buildings representing approximately fifteen million square feet of healthcare floor space. The programs utilize Phigenics' intelligent cloud-based software platform, independent expert services, microbiological and water testing services as specified in the awarded contracts. These specifications follow the new VA Directive "Prevention of Healthcare-Associated Legionella Disease and Scald Injury from Potable Water Distribution Systems," and are in alignment with the principals of hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) plans and the NSF International educational course "HACCP For Building Water Systems." Work is to commence immediately.
