WARRENVILLE, Ill., Nov. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Phigenics announced today that Molly Scanlon, Ph.D. has joined the organization as Director of Research and Innovation. Dr. Scanlon is an environmental health scientist as well as a licensed and certified healthcare architect. Most recently, she worked for the University of Arizona on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC)'s Legionellosis Prevention and Response Online Training Grant.
Dr. Scanlon is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA) and the American College of Healthcare Architects (FACHA) and has over 30 years of experience in healthcare facility design and construction. Her research involves examining the built environment's impact on human health with an emphasis on preventing waterborne diseases and sustainability.
As an entrepreneur who founded her own architecture consulting firm, Dr. Scanlon brings experience with clients such as Kaiser Permanente, Sharp Healthcare, Scripps Health, University of California-San Francisco, The Ohio State University, U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
In her new role at Phigenics, Dr. Scanlon will be developing key markets in the Southwest and collaborating with Dr. William McCoy, Phigenics Co-Founder, CTO and inventor of the Phigenics Validation Test® PVT Protocol.
