PGI Appoints David Wang President, PGI Asia

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PGI has announced today that David Wang has been appointed president, PGI Asia to lead this growing region with a focus on driving market leadership and growth.

Wang brings over 20 years of experience across various disciplines, leading multi-national organizations in China and around the world to the new position leading PGI's efforts toward continued growth and market leadership in the hygiene and healthcare markets.

Most recently, Wang was the President of Asia for Dover Corporation's Pump Solutions Group, a $9 billion diversified global manufacturer of equipment and specialized systems. In this role, he grew the division more than four times through various strong growth initiatives, developing new business and strengthening the organization. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of Greater China for SPX Corporation, a Fortune 500 multi-industry global business with $6 billion in annual turnover. While at SPX Corporation, Wang won the prestigious "Best General Manager" award in APAC for three consecutive years.
