PG&E Chairman Tony Earley To Be Featured On "Hiring America"
Television Program Dedicated to Help Veterans Transitioning Into Workforce
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) Chairman, CEO and President Tony Earley will be featured in an upcoming episode of "Hiring America," a television program providing valuable resources and information for new and seasoned veterans moving from the service into the workforce or seeking to build their careers.
The half-hour episode will be telecast in the San Francisco Bay Area at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, on KICU Channel 36. In addition, "Hiring America" will be seen this weekend in 32 nationwide media markets with military installations as well as The Pentagon Channel, the Department of Defense's satellite television channel, which broadcasts military news and information programs to nearly 2.6 million members of the Armed Forces. The program will be available online at YouTube.com/hiringamerica beginning Monday, Nov. 11.
In this episode, Earley talks about his experiences as a U.S. Navy officer, how his Navy background helps him lead a major utility company and how PG&E strongly supports integrating veterans into its workforce through programs such as PowerPathway™. Besides Earley, the segment also includes interviews with former veterans who became PG&E employees.
