PGA TOUR Superstore Raises $73,000 to Support The First Tee
ATLANTA, July 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- PGA TOUR Superstore today announced donations of $73,000 to support Chapters of The First Tee in five U.S. markets where the retail chain operates stores. The First Tee impacts the lives of young people by promoting character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
Through a spring fundraising drive, customers at 10 PGA TOUR Superstore locations made donations to The First Tee Chapters serving more than 75,000 youth in Atlanta, Dallas, Myrtle Beach, Naples and Phoenix.
PGA TOUR Superstore partners Bridgestone, Callaway, Nike, Cleveland and TaylorMade, a Trustee of The First Tee, donated a total of $17,000 to support The First Tee Chapters.
In addition, The First Tee Chapters received $50,000 in grant awards from The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, whose chairman, Arthur M. Blank, owner of the Atlanta Falcons, is also chairman of Golf &Tennis Pro Shop, owner and operator of PGA TOUR Superstore.
