PGA TOUR Superstore Awards $5,000 to The First Tee of Phoenix
PHOENIX, Dec. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- PGA TOUR Superstore has awarded a $5,000 grant to The First Tee of Phoenix, which positively impacts the lives of more than 80,000 young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

The First Tee of Phoenix does an extraordinary job of reaching tens of thousands of young people during the school day and in after-school and summer programs.
Across the country, PGA TOUR Superstore and its store associates support The First Tee chapters. In addition to grants, PGA TOUR Superstore provides young people with access to state-of-the-art teaching, club fitting and training.
PGA TOUR Superstore is owned and operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., whose controlling owner and chairman is Arthur M. Blank, retired Home Depot co-founder and owner of the Atlanta Falcons and a Trustee of The First Tee.
In partnership with The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, PGA TOUR Superstore supports The First Tee chapters reaching young people in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Delray Beach, Denver, Myrtle Beach, Naples, Phoenix and Paramus. Mr. Blank became a Trustee of The First Tee in January 2012, committing $1 million to the youth development organization through his family foundation.
