HARRISBURG, Pa., Jan. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Angela M. Liddle, executive director of the Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA), has been appointed to the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Children's Trust Fund.
She was nominated to the post by Gov. Tom Corbett and confirmed by the state Senate. The board is made up of three members of the state House of Representatives, three members of the state Senate and nine citizens appointed by the governor.
The Pennsylvania Children's Trust Fund was created in 1988 to provide funding for innovative and creative community-based programs that help prevent child abuse and neglect.

PFSA is a nonprofit organization that provides training in recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect through schools, early childhood education centers, religious institutions, and social service agencies.
PFSA serves as the Pennsylvania sponsor of The Front Porch Project®, a community-based training initiative that educates the general public about how to protect children from abuse and also works with more than 50 affiliate agencies across Pennsylvania to provide information, educational materials, and programs that teach and support good parenting practices.
