Peyton Manning Children's Hospital new presenting sponsor of Conner Prairie
FISHERS, Ind., April 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the nation's top hospitals for pediatric care has chosen to support Conner Prairie in 2017, backing museum initiatives to promote healthy living for youth and their families by getting out and being active in nature.
Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent will be the presenting sponsor of the museum's newest outdoor nature experience, Treetop Outpost; its series of summer day camps for youth ages 8-12; and Headless Horseman, a popular fall family festival that has spanned more than three decades.
As presenting sponsor, the hospital will financially support the three museum initiatives for one year and have multiple opportunities to interact with and engage Conner Prairie visitors throughout the year.
"We thank Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent for this sponsorship, which will help provide healthy, outdoor educational experiences and activities to youth and families at Conner Prairie," said Norman Burns, president and CEO of Conner Prairie. In addition, a new guide for parents that promotes the importance of being active in nature has been created; Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent will also provide free tips to summer day campers for healthy activities and recipes; and the hospital will provide treat stations and special giveaways during Headless Horseman.
