Mr. Littman began his career with a law firm in California which specialized in personal injury and class action lawsuits headed by Bob Lieff, Esq. After practicing several years under Attorney Lieff, Mr. Littman moved back to Ithaca and took a position at the Friedlander Law Firm, which also focused on personal injury and class action litigation on a smaller scale.

In addition to his experience at the trial courts in the Southern Tier of New York, he became well versed in representing individuals who had been victims of personal injury accidents, motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, trench cave-ins, lawnmower malfunctions, farm equipment accidents, and many other types of personal injury cases.

Early in his career, Mr. Littman graduated cum laude from Lehigh, and with the support of his two mentors, was accepted at Columbia Law School. He later attended Columbia Law School and earned his Juris Doctor in 1972.

To further enhance his professional development, Mr. Littman is an esteemed member of several organizations including New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, Injured Workers' Bar Association (IWBA), Workers' Injury Litigation Group (WILG), Tompkins County Bar Association, Immigration Committee and Judiciary Committee and President of Southern Tier Trial Lawyers Association (STTLA). As a prominent member of his community, Mr. Littman is also a 6 year Board Member of the Country Club of Ithaca, 25 year member of the Tompkins County Democratic Committee, 20 year Board Member of the Montessori School of Ithaca, President of Ellis Hollow Community Center, just to name a few.
