Peter Michelsen, Former Goldman Sachs Managing Director, Joins CamberView as Partner

He joins CamberView from Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a Managing Director in the investment banking division, a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group, and was extensively involved in advising clients in connection with contested situations and corporate governance matters.

At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Michelsen was responsible for the execution of M&A transactions and strategic advisory engagements across a broad range of industries.  He advised on a significant number of shareholder activism situations, proxy fights, consent solicitations, and hostile takeovers, as well as on general corporate governance and defense preparedness matters.  He started his career at Merrill Lynch & Co., where he was an investment banker focused on M&A execution.  He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and B.A from Claremont McKenna College.
