Peter M. Grollman Named Vice President, Government Affairs, Community Relations & Advocacy at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA, July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has announced that Peter M. Grollman has been named Vice President, Government Affairs, Community Relations & Advocacy. In his position, he will develop and implement an annual legislative agenda for the CHOP community, serve as a liaison with public officials and monitor governmental matters impacting CHOP operations in PA and NJ. Mr. Grollman also directs the CHOP's community relations activities, aiding in the creation and maintenance of partnerships supporting public health goals and advocacy in communities served by CHOP.

Mr. Grollman was hired as Director, Government Affairs, Community Relations & Advocacy in 2007. Prior to joining CHOP, Peter served as an aide in the U.S. Senate before joining a Washington, D.C. based public affairs firm specializing in healthcare advocacy.
Mr. Grollman received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University and Master's degree in Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
He lives in Wynnewood, Pa. with his wife and two children.
