Peter Foster Joins Match Group to Lead Global Advertising Team
NEW YORK, March 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Match Group announced today that it has hired Peter Foster as GM, Global Advertising and Brand Solutions. Mr. Foster joins from Wrap Media, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer for six months, following four years at Yahoo where he was VP, Solutions Development. At Yahoo, he led Media Solutions as well as the company's audience advertising business and mid-market sales team.
Mr. Foster will oversee Match Group's effort to ramp up its advertising business across Tinder, Match and its entire global portfolio of dating businesses, working closely with Alexis Ginas, who has been running the business over the past year, and who will now report to Peter and be overseeing sales and account management.

Peter Foster joins Match Group from Wrap Media where he was CRO for the startup. From 2011-2015, Mr. Foster served as Vice President, Solutions Development at Yahoo. In this role, he led Yahoo's Media Solutions as well as the company's audience advertising business and mid market sales team. Previously, he was Chief Revenue Officer at 5to1.com, which was acquired by Yahoo in 2011. Mr. Foster has extensive experience in advertising and sales and has held senior leadership roles at organizations including Hi5, Kosmix, Photobucket, Fastclick/ValueClick Media, Maxonline and L90.
