Peter B. Lilly Joins Board of Directors of Colombia Clean Power & Fuels, Inc.
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Colombia Clean Power & Fuels, Inc. (OTCBB: CCPF.OB), (the "Company" or "CCPF") announced today the appointment of coal industry executive Peter B. Lilly to the Company's board of directors. Mr. Lilly has over 30 years of senior operations and executive experience with some of the largest coal companies in the United States, including CONSOL Energy, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and as President – Coal Group, and Peabody Holding Company, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Lilly's executive experience also includes serving as President and CEO of Triton Coal Company LLC and Vulcan Coal Holdings LLC, and eleven years with Kerr-McGee Coal Corporation where he rose from Manager of Maintenance Planning, to Mine Manager, to VP of Marketing and Planning before his appointment as President of the company.
His past professional associations in the global coal industry include service as a board member of the World Coal Institute, the American Mining Congress, the National Coal Association, the Waterways Council, and Chairman of the Safety Committee of the National Mining Association.
Mr. Lilly is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, holds an MBA from Harvard University, and served with distinction as a Captain in the United States Army.
