Petco Unveils Two New Stores in May and June
Pet specialty retailer will celebrate the grand opening and re-opening of four stores, including two new stores, one store relocation and one remodel
SAN DIEGO, May 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In keeping with its fast-paced growth plan, Petco, a leading specialty retailer of premium pet food, supplies and services, will open two new stores, relocate one store in Chandler, Arizona and remodel one store in Denham Springs, Louisiana in May and June.
Petco stores provide a one-stop shopping experience where pet parents can purchase anything from pet food to toys and apparel, while addressing the holistic health needs of pets via the grooming salon, dog training area and in-store Vetco clinics.
Each new store will offer pet parents and their pets dog training areas, adoption centers and grooming salons. The stores will continue to offer a wide selection of branded products as well as private label offerings sold only at Petco, including the Trolls, Dr. Seuss and Star Wars Pet Fan Collections.
In May and June, two new stores will celebrate their grand opening celebrations:
- Lodi located at 2350 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi, CA 95242
- Grand Opening Weekend: May 19-21
- Quakertown located at 242 N. West End Blvd., Quakertown, PA 18951
- Grand Opening Weekend: June 9-11
- Wellness Weekend: June 17-18
One Arizona store will celebrate a relocation with a grand re-opening celebration on May 19-21 and its Wellness Weekend on June 3-4:
- Chandler located at 3452 W. Chandler Blvd., Chandler, AZ 85226
One Louisiana store will celebrate a remodel with a grand re-opening on June 9-11 and its Wellness Weekend on June 17-18:
- Denham Springs located at 2358 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, LA 70726
People and pets are invited to attend the grand opening festivities taking place at each store, followed by a special Wellness Center celebration the next weekend where they'll receive a voucher for a free vaccination package. Wellness Centers offer pet parents convenient and affordable pet wellness and vaccination services inside select Petco and Unleashed by Petco stores. Grand opening activities include ribbon cutting ceremonies, as well as in-store adoption events and special offers for Pals Rewards customers.
