Perseus Distribution And Hazelden Publishing Expand Distribution Agreement To Include E-Books
CENTER CITY, Minn., April 1, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Hazelden Publishing and Perseus Distribution are expanding their existing physical distribution agreement to include digital services through Constellation, the Perseus Books Group's industry-leading digital platform.
Hazelden has been publishing in the fields of recovery, inspiration, and self-help for over 60 years. The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown — recently featured twice on Oprah's popular "Super Soul Sunday" program—and the recovery classic, Codependent No More by Melody Beattie are two of their top-selling books across formats and are among the 300 e-books on Hazelden's list.
"We have been pleased with the growth we've seen since signing with Perseus to distribute our print trade titles last year. With Constellation's e-book distribution program, we look forward to extending our reach in helping more youth and adults recognize, understand, and overcome substance abuse, addiction, and closely related issues," said Nick Motu, Publisher and Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Hazelden.
Constellation is the industry's only complete digital service for independent publishers, offering exclusive global digital distribution, digital marketing, digital printing and other digital services for more than 30,000 titles across 400 independent publishers.
"It is a privilege to be working with Hazelden to support their critical work helping those with the disease of addiction," said Joe Mangan, Chief Operations Officer of The Perseus Books Group. "We couldn't be more pleased to be extending our relationship to include digital services."
