The addition of Permabit VDO support for Nagios XI was a natural step as Permabit continues to support global IT infrastructure and cloud deployments.
Administrators can now utilize Nagios to monitor their VDO storage utilization and set thresholds for capacity planning. The Nagios plug-in for VDO is available today to Permabit clients who are using VDO for data reduction on Linux.
