Perkins+Will Expands Its Healthcare Practice

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Architecture and design firm Perkins+Will has added eleven team members to its healthcare practice. These leading experts will help to expand the firm's presence and further service clients throughout North America and the global practice. Perkins+Will is well-known for its award winning healthcare portfolio including recent integrated planning and design projects for The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Rush University Medical Center. The Greater Accra Regional Hospital at Ridge in Accra, Ghana, Africa was honored with the Award for Future Health (unbuilt projects). Rush University Medical Center New Hospital Tower, in Chicago, was recognized by the American Institute of Architects with a National Healthcare Award. Tisch Center for Men's Health at NYU's Langone Medical Center, in New York City, was honored as the Best of Competition recipient in the International Interior Design Association's Healthcare Interior Design Competition.
