Perkins® Franchisee KRMM Hospitality Adds Two Restaurants
Refranchises Mankato and North Mankato, Minnesota Locations
MEMPHIS, Tenn., July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Like so many in the industry, Kevin Wharton began working in restaurants as a teenager. His affiliation with the Perkins brand began in 1991 when he was hired as a Guest Service Manager and today, he is living the American dream as a Perkins Restaurant & Bakery franchisee, dba KRMM Hospitality. In addition to owning/operating three Perkins Restaurants in Milford, Iowa, and Marshall and Willmar, Minnesota, this month, KRMM added two additional Perkins restaurants in Mankato and North Mankato, Minnesota to its portfolio in a refranchising agreement.
Wharton recaps, "I was looking to expand my business when the opportunity to assume ownership of the Mankato and North Mankato Perkins Restaurants presented itself. I could not be more thrilled." While the transition from a corporate owned to a franchised location is seamless, Wharton stresses his commitment to carrying on the tradition of, "taking care of our employees and our guests." And he explains, this is more than an individual effort – his wife, Roxy and son, Mason are integral parts of the equation as is Jodie Schulz, his Regional Manager.
