Performance Bicycle hosts nationwide bike ride in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Oct. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Performance Bicycle, the No. 1 choice for people who love to ride, is hosting "A Great Ride For A Great Cause" nationwide bike ride on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at all Performance Bicycle locations in support of the American Cancer Society. "A Great Ride For A Great Cause" is part of Performance Bicycle's Great Ride Series.

"A Great Ride For A Great Cause" rides will last approximately one hour and will go at a comfortable 12 to 15 miles per hour pace.  All rides are "No Rider Left Behind" and perfect for new and experienced cyclists.  Store locations can be found at PerformanceBike.com/Stores.

Beginning Tuesday, October 13, Performance Bicycle customers can purchase bracelets for $3 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness at all Performance Bicycle locations.  Performance Bicycle will match all bracelet sales from October 13 through October 24, up to $9,000 across stores nationwide. All bracelet sales and matching funds will go directly to the American Cancer Society.
