AKRON, Ohio, June 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- By tradition, green is the official color of 16th anniversaries, but that's not the case at Perfect Power Wash. Since it was founded by Richfield native Mike Palubiak 16 years ago, the Akron based company has grown into a nationally recognized leader of the power washing industry, by removing miles and miles of undesirable green stuff from the roofs, driveways and sidings of homes throughout Northeast Ohio.

Freeing homes from unwanted green moss, spores and other contaminants is something of a passion for Palubiak, who has become so accomplished at the task that he was asked to write best practices guidelines for the Minnesota-based national trade association, The Power Washers of North America in 2013.
With 18 service vehicles in the field, each with state-of-the-art cleaning equipment, and 45 employees, Perfect Power Wash ranks among the largest and most successful companies in the professional power washing industry. The company's rapid growth has earned it numerous honors, including spots on the INC 5000 list in 2014 and 2015, inclusion in the Crains 52 ranking, as well as Weatherhead 100 from Case Western Reserve.
Palubiak was inspired to start Perfect Power Wash while a student at Kent State University, after watching his father struggle on the family driveway with a clumsy do-it-yourself rented washer. Partly because he was frustrated by his experience, the elder Palubiak readily loaned is son $2,500 to start what would become Perfect Power Wash.
Starting out in his parents' neighborhood, Palubiak handed out flyers door to door. Soon business was brisk; he had to hire college friends to keep up with demand on weekends. As his business grew, so too did Palubiak's expertise. Carefully studying every manner of dirt, grime and mold Ohio has to offer, he perfected methods of removing them safely and efficiently from siding, roofing, and concrete -- becoming widely recognized as an industry expert.
Palubiak keeps up with the latest development in Power Washing Technology through his involvement in a variety of industry associations, which in addition to the Power Washers of North America, include the United Association of Mobile Contract Cleaners and the Roof Cleaning Institute of America. (RCIA). Complementing Palubiak's own expertise, is a team of highly skilled and experienced personnel, some of whom have been with Perfect Power Wash for over ten years.
As his business has grown, Palubiak has also gotten more involved with community activities. Under his leadership, Perfect Power Wash has teamed up with the Wounded Warriors project and has donated time and resources to many beautification initiatives.
Recently, as part of his support for the Make A Wish Foundation, Palubiak climbed the summit of Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the contiguous United States with an elevation of 14,505 feet. Reaching this elevation required a determined effort – but determination was nothing new to this Ohio entrepreneur after working for years to build a successful service-oriented business.
