PercuVision Expands Board of Directors, As Company Focuses On Growth
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- PercuVision® LLC, developer of patented micro-endoscope technologies to reduce pain and morbidity from blind urinary catheterizations, today announced that Thomas McDonald and Geoffrey Madden have been appointed to the company's board of directors.
The additions expand the company's board to six members. PercuVision currently is marketing its FDA-cleared DirectVision® System, a medical device that lets health practitioners view in real-time the inside of the urethra when placing urinary catheters.
"Having experienced executives like Tom and Geoff join our board provides PercuVision with greater resources, as we enter the next phase in our company's development and are now focused on expanding our customer base," said Errol Singh, M.D., F.A.C.S., a practicing urologist, inventor and CEO of PercuVision.
"We will continue to leverage the board's expertise and our company's leadership position, as we market our patented technology to the multi-billion dollar catheterization market, and as we further develop our technology for other applications, including nasogastric intubation, all with an objective of helping to improve patient care and outcomes," Dr. Singh added.
