Dinner Raised Unprecedented More Than $2.8 Million for the Ad Council
NEW YORK, Nov. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Last night, the Ad Council honored Indra K. Nooyi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, PepsiCo, with its 58th Annual Public Service Award at its Annual Dinner. NBC News' Lester Holt hosted the event held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. The dinner is the Ad Council's largest fundraising event, which raised an unprecedented more than $2.8 million this year.

Chaired by Andrew Robertson, President and CEO of BBDO Worldwide, and Chair of the Ad Council, the dinner served as a tribute to the industries and individuals who support the Ad Council and its public service advertising (PSA) campaigns. The event was attended by more than 1,100 prominent members of the media, advertising and corporate communities and is the Ad Council's largest fundraising event. Platinum sponsors included AOL, Yahoo! Inc. and Time Warner Inc.
