PURCHASE, N.Y., July 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of PepsiCo, Inc. (NYSE: PEP) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.7025 per share of PepsiCo common stock, a 7.3 percent increase versus the comparable year-earlier period. The dividend is payable on September 30, 2015 to shareholders of record as of September 4, 2015. PepsiCo has paid consecutive quarterly cash dividends since 1965, and 2015 marks the company's 43rd consecutive annual dividend increase.
Over the past ten years, PepsiCo has returned over $63 billion to shareholders in the form of dividends and share repurchases. The company expects to return $8.5 to $9 billion to shareholders in the form of dividends and share repurchases in 2015.
