Pepco Energy Signs Master Agreement with the Energy Services of Pensacola

ARLINGTON, Va.,  Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pepco Energy Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: POM) and a leader in energy savings performance contracting, has signed a Master Agreement with Energy Services of Pensacola, a natural gas provider that is owned and operated by the City of Pensacola, Florida.

Under the terms of the agreement, Pepco Energy will act as the implementer of utility energy service contract (UESC) projects for Energy Services of Pensacola at the U.S. Naval Air Station in Pensacola.

The three-year Master Agreement allows for "fast-track contracting."  This allows Energy Services of Pensacola to issue multiple task orders without a cost ceiling and all terms and conditions to be negotiated up-front in lieu of issuing a contract for each project.  The individual projects costs will be determined with the issuance of each task order.
