People First Convenes Impact Group On Lost Identity At IIW 2018

SAN FRANCISCO, March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- People First Founder John Philpin and Jeff Orgel of TAG LLC are convening a dialogue to broaden  awareness and communication around the rise in post-disaster lost identity and identity theft with members of People Centered Internet (PCI), Impact Network and the Lost Identity Group, at the Internet Identity Workshop (IIW), April 3-5, 2018 at the Computer History Museum in San Jose, Calif.

The Lost Identity Group was founded at the last IIW to develop support for those individuals who have had their identities lost or stolen due to catastrophe and disasters and is now part of PCI's Impact Network.

People First has been working closely over the past year with PCI co-founder Mei Lin Fung and other members of PCI and the Impact Network to support the Lost Identity Group initiatives.

"The Lost Identity Group has been steadily building its impact," Fung said. "Fellow members have met with organizations in Puerto Rico, Sonoma and Napa Counties to understand the problems of lost identities."
