Penton's Vice President of Engineering, John Paul, to Share Insights on How to Simplify Data Manipulation and Display

NEW YORK, April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- John K. Paul, Penton's Vice President of Engineering, will be sharing his insights on using programming and tools to simplify data manipulation and display at a number of renowned conferences in the coming months. Paul is part of Penton's newly recruited world-class digital product engineering executive team focused on platform consolidation, architecture and integrating new techniques into the professional information services company's product plans.

Paul will be speaking at the JSConf Brazil 2014 on April 25^th in Fortaleza, Brazil, on JavaScript, the premier language for interactive data visualizations on the web. He will encourage engineer attendees to utilize a new version of JavaScript with advanced features that simplify data manipulation and display.

Paul is set to speak at Penn State's Web Conference 2014 on June 9^th in State College, Pennsylvania on how to confidently build JavaScript applications utilizing tools and techniques typically used in combination with other programming languages, as well as how to build systems that self-check for bugs.

On July 9^th, Paul will discuss ways to utilize libraries built in competing module systems within a single application, specifically focusing on d3, a data visualization library at DevCon5 in New York.

He is also scheduled to speak at Midwest JS in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 14^th.
