The IoT Emerge conference tracks and initial speakers include:

- The Smart Buildings & Energy track offers real-world advice and insight on how to leverage low-cost sensors for better investment decisions, exploit robust communications platforms to make power flow control decisions, justify IoT Implementations, and integrate existing infrastructure with new IoT systems and strategies.
Bill Maurer, Senior Vice President of ABM Building and Energy Solutions will present "Overcoming Budget Challenges to Implement Smart IoT in Your Facility" and will offer practical and unique strategies for overcoming budget challenges, including tapping into federal and utility rebates.
- The Industrial IoT track provides real-world case studies from the factory floor with actionable takeaways, advice on overcoming these concerns, managing the tradeoffs inherent in any new tech initiatives and insights on how to leverage the opportunities created by the IoT.
Robert M. Bierwagen, VP and CIO for MPI Corp., will present "Automating the Shop Floor: How We Brought Three Facilities From Paper-driven to Data-driven with the Cloud" and will discuss MPI Corp.'s journey to automate text-driven shop floor operations at three facilities. He will share best practices for selecting and deploying next-generation technologies, key learnings and organizational shifts that need to happen on the shop floor to make the transition most effective for workers.
- The IoT Security track is targeted at anyone involved in IoT implementations concerned with IoT security and data privacy. Security experts with experience in the private and public sector identifying new threats and classes of attacks, identifying security vulnerabilities and knowledgeable in the latest best practices around security will present a combination of workshops and talks designed to help you get a handle on the security risks and steps you can take to protect your data and systems.
