Penny Worley Auctioneers Conducts Online Auction of Coral Gables Corporate Art Collection with Noted Miami, Cuban-American and Latin-American Artists
CORAL GABLES, Fla., May 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Penny Worley Auctioneers (www.worleyauctioneers.com) announces the online auction of corporate art collection from Coral Gables, Fla., according to Jerry Jenkins.
"All the assets will sell to the highest bidders during this online auction," Jenkins said. "We have over 1,200 lots of items up for bids, including a corporate art collection, high-end furniture and interior decor pieces."
Jenkins noted that a large original acrylic on canvas piece entitled "Armonia del Bosque" is up for auction. Painted by Marco Valencia of El Salvador whose work is displayed in the national museums there and aboard, this piece was specially commissioned by the Bank of Miami Corporate Art Collection in 2002.
"We also have two pieces by Carlos de Leon Campos," said Jenkins. "Campos is a renowned artist and speaker from Guatemala whose television show "Painting with De Leon Campos" debuted in 1970 and runs in syndication today."
There are also several pieces by Guatemalan artist Carlo Arriola, including a large framed acrylic on canvas painting of a Spanish colonial garden with fountain. Arriola is celebrated throughout Latin America with work on permanent display in the lobby of Alhambra Towers.
Artists represented in this art collection auction include: Daniela Bertonlini, an Italian-born artist noted in the Miami art community who has displayed work at the museum of the Americas; celebrated Panamanian artist Coqui Calderon; Cuban modernist painter Cundo Bermudez; Antonia Guzman an Argentinian painter of international acclaim; Cuban-American artist Humberto Calzada; sculptor Gay Garcia; Miami artist Montero; Cuban-American artist Connie Lloveras;
