Chester Community Charter School Hosts 13th Annual Thanksgiving Gift Certificate Giveaway for Students and Their Families

Chester, PA., November 14, 2012 – On Friday, November 16, 2012, approximately 600 parents of Chester Community Charter School (CCCS), the largest K-8 charter school in Pennsylvania, will receive $10 gift certificates, good toward turkey or other Thanksgiving Day fixings at Sam & Sam Meats, a Chester-based, small business. |
This program, in its 13th year, has awarded more than 7,500 families with holiday food assistance since the first turkey giveaway in 1999. |

CCCS students, parents, staff and attendees will also be greeted by "Chester C. Turkey," the school's Thanksgiving mascot, who will be on hand to assist in distributing gift vouchers to parents. |
