Pennsylvania Table Games Revenue Up 10% in September
Total gaming revenue rises nearly 4%
HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Gross revenue from gambling at table games in Pennsylvania casinos during September 2017 was up nearly 10% compared to September of last year, according to figures released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The report, posted on the Board's web site www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, shows that September 2017 table games revenue of $75,609,372 was an increase of 9.9% over September of last year when revenue was $68,787,147.
Total tax revenue from table games play during September was $12,184,596* with an average of 1,252 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.

When table games revenue is combined with the earlier reported September slot machine revenue, total gaming revenue was up more than $10 million or 3.86% compared to September of last year. Those totals are as follows:

About the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board:
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is tasked to oversee all aspects of the state's casino industry. There are 10 stand-alone and racetrack casinos in operation, along with the two smaller resort casinos. These facilities collectively employ 18,000 people and annually generate approximately $1.4 billion in tax revenue from slot machine and table games play.
