Pennsylvania Slot Machine Revenue Down 2% in July
HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today posted on its web site the monthly report for total gross revenue and tax revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during July.
According to the report, gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos fell 2% in July of this year to $209,124,966 compared to the $213,423,774 of gross revenue in July 2016. Tax revenue in July of this year was $102,916,410*.
Gross slot machine revenue for each of the casinos is as follows, with the percentage change reflected over the previous year:

The average number of slot machines operating throughout Pennsylvania was 25,584 in July 2017 compared to 26,634 in July 2016.
