Pennsylvania Sec. Manderino Continues 'Jobs that Pay' Tour at PMF Industries in Williamsport
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa., Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry Secretary Kathy Manderino continued the 'Jobs that Pay' tour today at PMF Industries Inc. in Williamsport. PMF Industries Inc. is an employee-owned fabrication company that offers concept to completion manufacturing services.

Sec. Manderino's tour of PMF Industries included a look at the company's metal forming processes, such as laser cutting, electromagnetic forming, rotoforming and hydroforming. PMF Industries serves customers in aerospace, defense, pharmaceutical, filtration, food and beverage, micro-electronics, medical, pulp and paper, environmental, nuclear, and power generation industries.
The company, which started with a small group of employees about 50 years ago, now employs 105 workers and manufactures more than 500 products for a variety of corporations, including aerospace. Their involvement with CareerLink® includes posting job openings on JobGateway®, participation in career fairs, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation events, and the PA CareerLink® "Rock" Manufacturing Day.
