Pennsylvania Lottery's First Halloween Millionaire Raffle Awards Over $5 Million in Prizes
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Oct. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Lottery's first Halloween Millionaire Raffle was drawn tonight, creating four new millionaires and thousands of other winners.
The four $1 million top-prize raffle ticket numbers selected were: 00075238, 00116632, 00163156, and 00352625.
The four $100,000 second-tier prize raffle ticket numbers selected were: 00047520, 00168200, 00340911, and 00353216.
Millionaire Raffle also awarded 100 prizes of $1,000 and 5,892 prizes of $100. In total, the drawing offered 6,000 prizes worth $5,089,200.
To be considered a winning ticket, the eight-digit number on a Millionaire Raffle ticket must exactly match a winning number selected in the raffle drawing, and all digits must appear in the same sequence as the winning number.
Players may check winning numbers beginning tonight at palottery.com. Winning raffle ticket numbers will be listed by prize category. Players should also check tickets using a scanner available at Lottery retailers and immediately sign their winning tickets.
The $1 million top prizes must be claimed by presenting a winning ticket at Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of the Lottery's seven area offices. Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lottery headquarters and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices.
Claims for the $100,000 prizes can be filed at any of the Lottery's seven area offices or at a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer. Holders of Millionaire Raffle tickets worth $1,000 and $100 can claim winnings at Lottery retailers.
Ticket sales for the Pennsylvania Lottery's first Halloween Millionaire Raffle began August 25 and ended at 8 p.m. tonight. The drawing was conducted from among 356,904 ticket numbers sold. Each ticket cost $20.
Millionaire Raffle, launched in 2005 and originally offered twice a year, is now offered four times a year. The New Year's Millionaire Raffle will go on sale November 10 and will be drawn on January 2, 2016.
