Pennsylvania Labor & Industry Secretary to Hold Webinar on Unemployment Compensation Reform and Trust Fund Solvency
HARRISBURG, Pa., June 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor & Industry Julia Hearthway will lead a media webinar addressing Pennsylvania's newly enacted unemployment compensation, or UC, reform law at 3 p.m. (Eastern) today, Tuesday, June 12.
Signed today by Gov. Tom Corbett, the new law makes possible the repayment of $3.9 billion in federal loans, modernizes the state's UC Law and restores the structural solvency of its Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund.
