Pennsylvania Governor Corbett Orders Flags to Fly at Half-Staff to Honor Vietnam War Pilot
HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags at the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Cameron County lowered to half-staff on Saturday, Oct. 22 in honor of Air Force Major Thomas E. Clark, of Emporium.
Clark, a pilot, was shot down over Vietnam in February 1969. His remains were recently identified, returned to the U.S. and will be interred on Oct. 22.
All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in this tribute.
