Pennsylvania Governor Corbett Issues State Flag Order to Honor Former Representative

HARRISBURG, Pa., July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all state flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Bucks County to fly at half staff on Tuesday, July 24, in honor of former State Rep. Anthony J. Melio, who died July 19 at age 80.

Melio was elected in 1986 and retired from the Pennsylvania House in 2010. He also served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1949 to 1959.
