HARRISBURG, Pa., Jan. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today joined the Pennsylvania Dairymen's Association and Valley Grange #1360 in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Dairymen's Association milkshake.
"The Dairymen's Association milkshake is a tradition that has stood the test of time," said Governor Corbett, "Each year thousands of Pennsylvanians enjoy this delicious treat here at the Pennsylvania Farm Show."
At the 50's-themed showcase event the governor, along with David Smith of the Dairymen's Association, joined in a milkshake toast to commemorate the six decade-long tradition of delicious vanilla and chocolate shakes.

Each year, the Pa. Dairymen's Association and Valley Grange #1360 operate 15 milkshake machines at the Farm Show. The Valley Grange #1360 recruits 35 people per shift at three shifts per day to maintain production. More than 400 Grange volunteers are scheduled for the duration of this year's Farm Show.
