Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Announces Lehigh County Assistance Office Relocation
Move driven by departmental priorities of improving customer service and focusing on employment
HARRISBURG, Pa., March 21, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) today announced that the Lehigh County Assistance Office (CAO) will relocate to 555 Union Blvd., Allentown, and will open on April 4, 2016.
The current location will remain open to serve walk-in traffic during the relocation on March 31 and April 1. All SNAP applications requiring authorization and emergency authorizations will be completed at the new location during that time.
The new location is directly accessible by public transportation and is located in the same building as PA CareerLink, providing easier access for our clients looking for work or job training.

County assistance offices have professionally trained staff members that provide assistance in securing a range of health and human services for individuals and their families.
