Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners Approves Policy Manual
HARRISBURG, Pa., Dec. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, Dec. 20, the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners approved a policy manual for the Board. The vote was six in favor, one opposed and one abstention.
Those voting in favor were: Board President Ronald Weaner, Board Vice-President Ralph Martone, Board Secretary David Putnam, Commissioner Tom Boop, Commissioner Jay Delaney and Commissioner Robert Schlemmer. Commissioner Greg Isabella voted no, and Commissioner David Schreffler abstained.
"These policies will be directed toward maintaining a balance between the critical factors that influence the health and natural function of the Commonwealth's various wildlife habitats and hunting and wildlife related outdoor opportunities," according to the policy manual.
