Pennsylvania Banking and Securities Department Announces Quarterly Report on Public Enforcement Orders
HARRISBURG, Pa., April 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Department of Banking and Securities issued nine public enforcement orders during the first quarter of 2014. Final orders included fines, assessments and repaid costs of $277,396.17, including:
- Six Consent Agreements and Orders and one Cease and Desist Order issued for unlicensed loan activity; and
- Two Consent Agreements and Orders issued for violations of the Pennsylvania Securities Act of 1972.
Additionally, one of the Consent Agreement and Orders resulted in the revocation of a mortgage broker license and the surrender of a mortgage originator license for violations of the Mortgage Licensing Act.
