Penn United Is Thankful and Looking to a Bright Future!

CABOT, Pa., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Penn United Technologies, Inc. has much to be thankful for and to celebrate. Dedication and perseverance have paid off. Through tough economic times Penn United employees worked hard to keep their customers happy and remain competitive in seeking new business; their achievements are shown in their success and they have reason to celebrate. All employees were invited to gather on the front lawn of Penn United's main campus for a catered 10 oz. steak lunch. The luncheon was held by Penn United to thank employees and enjoy a fun filled afternoon together in appreciation of their hard work. Door prizes were given away, games were held that awarded prizes and an additional competition was held for the most patriotic outfit.

Penn United employees donate annually to the community in the form of their Christmas Blessings program; the luncheon also gave opportunity to help gather money to fund their contribution to the community. Employees raise money all year to purchase Jones Turkey Farm fresh turkeys, buns, potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, stuffing, cookies, and more to donate Christmas dinners to local families in need. As part of the drive to raise money for Christmas blessings managers volunteered to take a "Pie in the Face for Christmas Blessings" on stage at the luncheon.
